Cornerstone Update on COVID-19: 2020 Meeting Cancelations

As part of protective measures being taken globally following the World Health Organization’s classification of the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) as a pandemic, we have decided to cancel our 2020 Annual Meeting & Expo. This includes the Foundation’s golf tournament. The Foundation hopes to continue the cooperative and competitive spirit with a virtual golf tournament for registered golfers. Additional follow up messages will be sent as we are working to create a unique experience to take its place.

We will be conducting our Annual Business Meeting on April 15, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. in a virtual format.

Please contact the Gaylord Texan Resort to cancel accommodations, as well as your airline to cancel travel plans.

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR)

The Young Professional Advisors have chosen Bags of Love as our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for Annual Meeting. We encourage you to please bring the needed items listed below to help so many young kids in foster care. YP representatives will be set up near registration to collect your donations.

Travel size toiletries that are gender and age specific like

  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Body wash
  • Lotion
  • Blankets

Bags of Love is a non-profit organization who provides duffel bags that include a few items such as blankets, toiletries, small bibles, all gender, and age-specific so children entering into the foster system don’t have to put all of their belongings into a trash bag. The goal is this will help make these difficult times a little easier on these sweet children. Since 2016, Hallie Hatthorn, the founder of Bags of Love has dispersed over 6,000 bags all over Texas and a few different states. All donations help no matter how small.
