In business if you don't have human connection, you don't really have anything.  The very essence of business is fulfilling human need or desire.  Even the most automated of systems is designed with meeting people's needs on some level.  If the people aren't there, then the business goes away as well.

The most successful businesses find a proper balance of creating and maintaining human connection while at the same time making the most of the digital assets available to them.  After all, the digital assets are there to help us better serve the needs of our clients, as well as our own needs in our business endeavors.    

Ironically enough, our ever-expanding digital world seems to find us becoming more and more disconnected with each other; at least in real, genuine ways. In this thought-provoking, inspiring, and fun presentation, Curtis talks about why we so easily become disconnected and how we can avoid falling into this trap. He also demonstrates some of the fun and amazing ways he connects with people and how we can improve the human connections in each of our own lives.
