The Cornerstone Lending and Collections Council is offering a Gary D. Parker Legacy Scholarship for one young professional to attend the 2023 Southwest Lending and Collections Conference in San Antonio, Oct. 10–13.

The scholarship covers the 2023 conference registration fee and three nights’ lodging at the Hotel Contessa. Only one scholarship will be awarded. Applicants must be 40 years or younger and an employee of a credit union in Cornerstone League’s five-state region.

 

About Gary Parker’s Legacy

Gary D. Parker started his credit union career in 1974. He was a founding member of the Lending and Collections Council, for which he helped organize 18 conferences and many workshops. He lives and breathes the credit union philosophy of “people helping people” and has always been a mentor to many young credit union professionals.
