Amanda Dawson, Ph.D., is vice president of audit and consulting services with Cornerstone Resources. She leads the audit and consulting services team, which offers a variety of credit union auditing and consulting services, including supervisory committee annual reviews; ACH, BSA, and internal audit; commercial lending program reviews; board monitoring and reporting services; interim CEO/CFO support; and other operational consulting, training, and board services.

Dawson has more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry, working at financial institutions with total assets exceeding $20 billion. Positions throughout her career include vice president of commercial loan operations, commercial credit analyst manager, internal auditor, and credit union financial examiner. Dawson earned an MBA from Southwestern College in 2009 and a Ph.D. in business administration, with a specialization in management, from Northcentral University.
