Idrees Rafiq Jr. is an information security and risk management executive with Cornerstone Resources, supporting credit unions nationwide. He leads enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen cybersecurity, risk management, compliance, and strategic IT implementations, including audits, policy development, and complex solution delivery. His work emphasizes practical controls that protect members without adding unnecessary friction. Before joining Cornerstone, Rafiq served as an IT director and director of purchasing for a multimillion-dollar international agency, overseeing network architecture, infrastructure, and end-user support. He serves on the board of the National Credit Union Information Sharing and Analysis Organization and contributes to the CUNA IT Council and the Cornerstone Credit Union League IT Council. Rafiq was named a 2017 CU Rock Star by CU Magazine and holds an MBA in management from Our Lady of the Lake University.
