Malcolm Rene is the President/CEO of Priority Trust Credit Union in Houston, Texas, a certified CDFI and Minority Depository Institution (MDI) dedicated to expanding financial access and opportunity within underserved communities. With 33 years of experience in the credit union industry, Malcolm has built a career centered on community impact, financial inclusion, and strategic leadership.

He previously served as President of the Texas Chapter of the African-American Credit Union Coalition (AACUC) and continues to work closely with community organizations and local partners to develop meaningful solutions for overlooked and underserved populations. Under his leadership, Priority Trust Credit Union has strengthened its role as a mission-driven institution focused on service, advocacy, and economic empowerment.
