Bill Fournet is the founder and CEO of The Persimmon Group, an award-winning management consulting firm. For more than two decades, Bill has served as a trusted advisor to executives across a wide range of industries—including credit unions, energy, manufacturing, construction, and IT—helping them build resilient organizations in times of rapid change.
As the leader of Persimmon’s Advisory practice, Bill specializes in executive coaching, strategic planning, and organizational performance. He is known for helping leadership teams cut through complexity, focus on what matters most, and lead with greater confidence in uncertain environments.
Bill has led enterprise-level strategic initiatives for national and global organizations, overseeing multi-year programs staffed by hundreds and sourced globally. His expertise spans product and service delivery, project and portfolio management, and performance improvement strategy, bringing both depth and real-world practicality to every engagement.
Beyond his work, serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the Boy Scouts of America Indian Nations Council, is the District Chair for Tulsa Scouting, and an active Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 26. He also served as Chairperson for Growing Together, Inc., a nonprofit focused on ending the cycle of poverty through neighborhood transformation.
Bill earned a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and his master’s degree from Oklahoma State University. He is an avid backpacker and outdoorsman who divides his time between Colorado and Oklahoma.
