Misty Babb-Hayes is the CEO/President of CUSC of Oklahoma and Principal of MemberHaven Insurance, where she leads a multi-subsidiary Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) focused on helping credit unions expand access, strengthen service delivery, and support long-term sustainability through shared branching, ATM network solutions, and member insurance services.
Misty began her career in 1999 as a part-time teller and has grown alongside the organization for more than two decades—building expertise across operations, finance, compliance, and strategic leadership. She was appointed CEO in April 2024 and now leads enterprise strategy, financial performance, and cross-functional operations in support of credit unions across the region.
As the leader of a multi-credit union-owned CUSO, Misty brings a perspective grounded in the cooperative model. She understands firsthand the responsibility of serving credit unions not as a vendor, but as a partner—where success is shared, and every decision is tied back to member impact.
Misty is deeply committed to developing leaders and expanding opportunity within the credit union movement. She serves as Vice Chair of the Oklahoma City Chapter of the Global Women’s Leadership Network (GWLN) Sister Society, where she helps create space for connection, mentorship, and leadership development while supporting initiatives that give back to the community.
In 2025, she led the launch of CUSC Gives Back, a Cornerstone donor-advised fund established to support causes important to credit unions, employees, and the communities they serve. The initiative focuses on strengthening communities and expanding access to essential resources for vulnerable populations—reflecting the credit union philosophy of “people helping people” and her personal commitment to creating opportunity for those who need it most.
