Oscar Guzmán is a globally recognized authority in economic development and financial inclusion, with over three decades of experience across Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe. Throughout his career, he has driven transformative access to financial services and economic opportunity for women, youth, smallholder farmers, entrepreneurs, indigenous communities, and migrants — leading highimpact projects and consultancies in more than 30 countries. He currently serves as Regional Director for Latin America at the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU), Founder & CEO of Synergy Pathways, and Founder & Chairman of Coonecta —bridging payment and financial ecosystems through innovation and digitalization. Oscar is a faculty member at the Boulder Institute of Microfinance and the author of numerous specialized publications. He holds a degree in Business from the Pontificia Universidad Católica and a Master's in Finance from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
