Char Sears is the Senior Vice President and Chief Growth Officer at Unitus Community Credit Union, where she leads enterprise growth strategy across marketing and brand, digital experience, product management, payments, data intelligence, and member experience.

With more than 22 years of experience in financial services, Char specializes in growth strategy, digital transformation, product innovation, payments, artificial intelligence, and human-centered design. Throughout her career, she has focused on creating meaningful experiences that strengthen relationships, expand access, and deliver measurable value for members and organizations.

A recognized industry thought leader, Char is a frequent speaker, panelist, and author on topics including digital transformation, AI, member experience, and innovation in financial services. Her work has been recognized with several industry honors, including the FIsionaries Digital Transformation Award, America's Credit Unions' Excellence in Technology Award, and recognition as one of Finopotamus' Women in Technology.

Char holds the Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE) designation and is a graduate of Western CUNA Management School. She serves on several regional and national industry boards, councils, and advisory committees dedicated to advancing innovation and leadership within the credit union movement.
