Lexie Mitchell is the owner and president of The Nicholson Agency, a full-service advertising agency with deep roots in the credit union industry. With nearly 20 years of experience in advertising and marketing, Lexie began her career at The Nicholson Agency in 2007, as a copywriter under agency founder Steve Nicholson, eventually evolving into a hybrid role that blended account management, digital media strategy, creative direction, and client leadership — a reflection of life inside a small but highly collaborative agency.

In 2019, she purchased The Nicholson Agency and has continued to grow and evolve the business while keeping credit unions at the center of its mission. In 2026, the agency will enter a new chapter with a rebrand that reflects its continued evolution and vision for the future.

Over the years, Lexie has helped lead award-winning marketing campaigns for credit unions across the region, earning recognition including two Bronze Quill Awards for writing, an ADDY Award, and numerous CUNA Diamond Awards, CUES Golden Mirror Awards and other credit union marketing honors.

Beyond agency work, Lexie is a proud supporter of the credit union movement and ARCUPAC, regularly participating in industry events and advocacy efforts that strengthen the cooperative spirit of credit unions.
