Gene Fredrickson has more than 35 years of IT experience. In 2019 Fredrickson was named as one of SC Media’s Top Information Security Executive Leaders of the Last 30 Years. He retired as chief security strategist for PSCU and currently serves as the executive director of the National Credit Union ISAO. Fredrickson has held positions, including global CISO for Tyco International and principal consultant for security and risk management strategies for Burton Group. He served on the R&D committee for the Financial Services Sector Steering Committee of the Department of Homeland Security. He also served as an advisor on cybersecurity steering committees for the George W. Bush and Bill Clinton administrations.
