Nanci Wilson began her career in the credit union industry by pure serendipity. After seeking assistance from a credit union and being treated with kindness and empathy, she knew she wanted to be a part of this important movement. She started out as a teller and worked her way up to her dream role of marketing director. Wilson found even greater passion for the movement through the Credit Union Development Educator program in 2015 and has returned as a speaker and mentor for new CUDE classes. Wilson was named a Credit Union Rockstar by CUNA in 2017. One of her greatest joys is keynoting on topics such as the power of empathy, owning your flaws (“Flawesome”), and creating authentic connections by being a relatable human.
