While studying advertising and public relations at Michigan State University, an internship at Lake Trust Credit Union was Blake Woods’ entry point into the financial services industry. Woods has worn many hats during his more than 10 years in the business, including innovation, public relations, and e-commerce management. In 2015, Woods became one of the youngest members of Filene Research Group’s i3 program. Subsequent honors have included MVP of the MDC Innovation Council and mentor in the Cooperative Trust and CUDE programs. In 2019, he joined TransUnion as an analyst on the credit union team.
