Ashley Town, director of fraud services for CO-OP Financial Services, will examine trends including ATM EMV fallback, the practice of fraudsters creating counterfeit cards with an intentionally damaged chip to force an EMV transaction to fall back to a magnetic stripe transaction. Town will also look at criminal trends emerging from the dark web and account takeover (ATO) attacks related to the elderly and young. This presentation will help you defend your credit union and your members against fraud.
