Jeff Longbine is a fourth-generation Kansan and small business owner. After studying business administration and playing football at KU and Emporia State, he followed in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, working in the family business, now Longbine Auto Plaza.

His commitment to community service led him to serve on the Emporia City Commission as mayor and to go on to be elected to the Kansas Senate in 2010. Since then, Jeff has been involved on key committees of the credit union industry in Kansas. Most importantly, he served two terms as Senate Vice President and now Chairs the Senate Committee on Financial Institutions and Insurance.
