Nick Hoheisel proudly represents Southwest Wichita as the representative of the 97th District, where he is currently in his third term. Before his election to the House, he served his local community as a member of the City Council District IV Advisory Board and the Southwest Village Neighborhood Association Board.

His passion for the financial security of the state of Kansas steered him to participate in committees most relevant to the credit union industry, including House Financial Institutions and Pensions which he now Chairs. He is also a Co-Vice Chair of the Kansas Future Caucus, a group of Millennial and Generation Z lawmakers committed to finding pragmatic solutions that impact future generations significantly.
