Cynthia Campbell is chief operating officer of BALANCE, a national nonprofit that delivers consumer financial education and counseling. She is a strategist, corporate communicator, and project executor, and she oversees financial coaching and housing counseling teams, training, HR, marketing, and business intelligence departments. Campbell previously served as VP of innovation and strategy at Oklahoma Central Credit Union, director of Innovation Labs at Filene, and VP of financial empowerment at Tinker FCU. Financial health has dominated her career, with a focus on the under-resourced. Campbell holds a BS in business administration, an MBA from Elmhurst College, and a master’s in adult education from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has a Senior Certified Professional Human Resources designation and publishes a quarterly article for CUInsight.
