Scott Braddock has been called a lot of things. But first and foremost, he is the Editor of the Quorum Report, a newsletter for political insiders in Texas. Based in Austin, he’s a journalist and political analyst who also hosts the state’s number one politics podcast for the last decade: The Texas Take.

His numerous media appearances include Fox News Channel, CNN, CBS News, conservative radio talk shows all over Texas, and more.

Years ago, Scott was the chief political reporter for the two biggest radio news stations in Texas. He’s also been honored with the Edward R. Murrow and Associated Press awards for investigative journalism and received recognition for excellence and fairness in political reporting from the Texas Congressional delegation.

Scott is a product of rural Texas. He began his radio career at the age of 16 in Brenham spinning records (yes, records) and reading school lunch menus on the air. At 19, he began covering the news in Bryan/College Station and the rest is history.
