Cheryl Middleton Jones joined CO-OP Financial Services as chief people officer in November 2018, bringing more than 20 years of human resources and change management experience within large organizations to help lead CO-OP’s transformation as a digital enterprise. Prior to CO-OP, Jones was with Discovery, Inc., a mass media company operating the Discovery Channel and others, where she was senior vice president of human resources. In this capacity, Jones was responsible for defining and executing strategy and creating consistent structures, systems and operating plans involving 4,000 employees around the world. Prior to joining Discovery, Inc., in 2011, she worked for ING, the financial services company, from 2001-2011, and Honeywell from 1994-2001.
