Teresa Freeborn is president of Kinecta Federal Credit Union, the 35th largest credit union in the nation with $6 billion in assets and 300,000 members. She has been a passionate advocate in the credit union movement for four decades. She helped shape the industry in diversity, inclusion, technological innovation, and collaboration among credit union, and her work has been recognized with countless awards and honors. She recently served on CUNA’s board of directors and chairs CU Awareness LLC, an industrywide program that aims to attract more consumers to credit unions. Freeborn is also chair of WOCCU’s Global Women’s Leadership Network. Freeborn holds an MBA from Simon Fraser University.
