Heather Walter is president/CEO of Advanz Credit Union, a $160-million credit union in Louisville, Ky., serving 10,500 members. She was previously president/CEO of Louisville Gas & Electric Credit Union for more than 13 years. She has earned the CUCE, CCUE, CFMS, CFSP, and CUBLP designations and is a 2002 graduate of CUNA Management School. Walter is a founding member of Credit Union Women Leadership Alliance and serves on the boards of Tennessee League Capital Inc, Kentucky Credit Union League, and the CEO Roundtable Planning Committee (chair). She also volunteers for the Harrison County Community Foundation and for 18 years was involved with Phi Beta Psi, which raises money for cancer patients and cancer research.
