Juan Fernandez Ceballos serves as the president and CEO of the Credit Union Association of New Mexico, and he is the first Hispanic CEO at any state credit union League. Prior to his work in New Mexico, Ceballos held positions leading the credit unions’ community development efforts in New York and Washington state. He has worked with credit unions to help them seize opportunities to serve unmet needs in their communities, help their members, and achieve sustainable growth. His experience spans across segments of the cooperative movement. In particular, Ceballos has focused on economic development initiatives which have led him to pursue a stronger and more vibrant cooperative collaboration across the movement.
