Strategies for Growth & Sustainability

Even in the best of economic times, credit unions struggle to expand. Spurts of high growth occur rarely, and they are difficult to sustain. Therefore, in the worst of times, when loan demand dips, credit unions face an even steeper climb. It is increasingly important for credit unions to leverage resources enabling them to pursue growth strategies despite economic downturns.

Through the use of vivid examples, best practices, and group discussion this session will give you the tools and resources needed to push your credit union forward.

Learning outcomes:

  • How to identify overlooked target markets and loan opportunities
  • How to better compete for organic loan growth

Included in this session will be a discussion on the regulatory view of the new standard and what they have done to help ease the immediate burden on smaller credit unions. This interactive session will include tips on how to prepare for the implementation of the new model and how to keep up with the inevitable changes that come with new standards.
