Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) remains an important issue concerning examinations and credit union liability. A substandard BSA / OFAC compliance program may expose your credit union to unwanted regulatory scrutiny and extensive penalties. You, your staff and volunteers will be able to learn about BSA / OFAC compliance in role-specific webinars with Monica Villines, CRCM, CUCE, BSACS.

One June 17, 2024, the NCUA issued a final rule on succession planning, through which additional requirements were placed on credit unions. Not only is it important that credit unions ensure they are meeting new regulatory requirements, but having a succession plan in place helps ensure the continuity of the credit union’s operations, preserves institutional knowledge, and helps the credit union maintain a strong connection with its members. During this presentation will we discuss the new regulatory requirements and will work on a succession plan that can be implemented by your credit union.
